How we choose and check wedding venues
We list castles, country houses, distinctive hotels and unexpected settings, and we show where each figure came from. Capacity and price come from the venue's own site or brochure. Anything we have not checked says so.
What's on here
Places across Ireland with different styles, sizes and ways of hosting a wedding. Some offer the whole property. Others host celebrations in a private room or part of a shared venue. Check the arrangements that matter to you before you book.
Using the directory
Browse by county or collection, then visit each venue's own website. Our descriptions and questions are intended to help you explore a place, not replace a viewing or a conversation with its team.
About the details
Listing information comes from directory research and each venue's own website. A price only appears where the venue publishes one, and we say what it covers: a package, a price per guest or venue hire before food and drink. Prices change, so ask what is included, which dates apply and whether minimum guest numbers or extra charges affect your plans.
Capacity can mean a seated meal, a ceremony or a standing reception. Where we have a published figure, the venue page includes its context. A missing figure means you should ask the venue. Accommodation does not necessarily cover your whole guest list, and exclusive use may apply to only part of a property.
How we check and correct
Figures come from the venue's own website or brochure, and each venue page says when its details were last checked. Where a fact comes from a directory listing instead, the page says it is listed and not confirmed.
If something is wrong or out of date, email [email protected]. We'll check it against the venue's own website and fix the page.
Getting in touch with venues
Where a venue publishes a website, its page here links straight to it. A handful do not, and for those you are better off ringing. Either way, contact them directly.
