Privacy policy
We only collect anything when you ask us to email you a venue's details or your shortlist. This page covers what we keep, why, and how to have it removed.

What we collect
When you use the form on a venue page or your shortlist: your email address, and if you fill them in, your first name, wedding date and rough guest numbers, along with the venues you asked about and the time you sent it. Browsing the site on its own doesn't identify you. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, and with Google Analytics, which uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. There are no advertising cookies here.
Your shortlist itself is saved only in your own browser, on your device. It never reaches us unless you ask us to email it, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Why we use it
To send you the venue details or shortlist you asked for, because you asked. We keep a record of the request so we can deal with any problem with it, and so the site gets better at listing the kind of places people actually look for.
To send the details, the form asks you to agree that we can email you about that venue, or the venues on your shortlist. We only email you about those, based on your consent. You can unsubscribe any time by replying to any of our emails.
We don't sell your details.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the request. Resend delivers our emails, from servers in the EU. Both act only on our instructions. Google provides the analytics that count visits.
How long we keep it
Requests are deleted automatically two years after you send them. Ask sooner and we'll delete yours sooner.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, by emailing [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
