Your details, kept simple

We only collect anything when you ask us to email you a venue's details. This page covers what we keep, why, and how to have it removed.

Who we are

bespokewed is responsible for the information described here. Write to hello@bespokewed.com about anything on this page.

What we collect

When you use the form on a venue page: your email address, and if you fill them in, your first name, wedding date and rough guest numbers, along with the venue you were looking at and the time you sent it. Browsing the site on its own collects nothing about you. There are no analytics or advertising cookies here.

Why we use it

To send you the venue details you asked for, because you asked. We keep a record of the request so we can deal with any problem with it, and so the site gets better at listing the kind of places people actually look for.

If you tick the box for the occasional email about new venues, we'll send those too, based on your consent. Leave it unticked and you get the one email you asked for. You can withdraw consent any time by replying to any of our emails.

We don't sell your details.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the request. Resend delivers our emails, from servers in the EU. Both act only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Requests are deleted automatically two years after you send them. Ask sooner and we'll delete yours sooner.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, by emailing hello@bespokewed.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
