A closer look

A place with character.

The building is the whole point here. Stone walls, high windows and the proportions of a church, sitting on a street corner in Killorglin rather than down a long avenue somewhere. You get it to yourselves, which means the ceremony and the party happen in the same room without anyone reeling in tables between courses.

Killorglin puts you on the Ring of Kerry with Killarney about fifteen minutes away, so guests have somewhere to stay and something to do the next morning. There are no beds on site, which is worth planning around early.

Before you book

Worth asking.

  1. How late can the music run, given the venue sits among neighbours in town?
  2. Where do guests stay, and is there a block booking arrangement locally?
  3. Is the ceremony space also the dining space, and who does the turnaround?
