A closer look
A place with character.
The chapel is what sets BrookLodge apart. It is a real stone church in the grounds, approved for civil marriages, so the legal ceremony and the celebration happen in the same valley without a convoy in between. The estate around it is organic, with its own restaurant, pub and smokehouse.
Macreddin is properly hidden away in the Wicklow hills, about an hour from Dublin. Forty beds on site and exclusive use of the village make it a weekend rather than an evening.
