A place with character.
Butler House is a city wedding that does not feel like one. Step out the front door onto Patrick Street in medieval Kilkenny, step out the back into the castle gardens. The rooms are Georgian with a modern hand, and there are bedrooms upstairs.
It is not exclusive use, so the hotel side keeps running. For a small wedding in a walkable city, with guests able to stagger home rather than book coaches, it is hard to beat.
