A closer look

A place with character.

The National Gallery hosts civil ceremonies and small receptions in restored Georgian rooms, with the collection on the other side of the wall. It is a city ceremony with real character, and exclusive use of the space is part of the arrangement.

Everything is walkable from here: Merrion Square, Kildare Street, hotels and restaurants in every direction. No accommodation, and catering is handled in house.

Before you book

Worth asking.

  1. Which rooms are available, and how many do they hold?
  2. What times of day can a ceremony take place?
  3. Is a drinks reception or meal possible on site afterwards?
